Took 10 minutes for someone to get me a cheesecake mainly because when I came back the person that I paid for twice sorry helping somebody else out even though they knew immediately it was me paging for them and then totally ruined someone's cake because they were in a rush to help me. To come in get a cheesecake a combo meal from their Deli area and soup took me 28 minutes very disappointed. On a positive note they have buy one get one free steaks and they have good cuts of steak
I walked up yesterday to get gas and smokes, the lady when I walked up rolled her eyes, shook her head no, glared. I asked for smokes and she said in a rude tone, "you know it's cheaper to go to the smoke shop." I said yes I know, but I don't have time, she sighed and angrily rung me up. So freaking rude. Go find another job, but don't take your bad day out on me!
Fast service, the meat counter wasn't actually open one time and the person still helped me.
The Safeway on State street in Marysville saved my life with their life saving service they offer through their security program which enables security officers to turn your lost wallet in, and so you get it back. I had to throw a lot of things in the dumpster from my apartment and I thought I threw it in the bags I went to take out to the dumpster. I was certain the wallet was in the bags and I went back to the dumpster only to find out they emptied it! The shopping trip I had yesterday was the nearby Dollar Tree store and I assumed if it wasn't there it was gone for good. I served the military as a USMC, and my eagle, globe, and anchor which I kept in my wallet meant so much to me, to lose something so important right before veteran's day was a tragedy, but Safeway turned my tragedy into a triumph so thanks again Safeway!
Good store good people, the hot deli and China express are super inconsistent on quality of food though, the hot deli/China express food there is Rarely as good as other Safeway stores I've been to. Besides that great place to shop.
