One trying experience: doesn’t mess up all the good they do. Just like humans.

If I could give -5 I would. I went there today with my husky because as a nurse I can see she has sings and symptoms of a urinary tract infection. The Veterinarian and her assistance did not focus at all on the reason for my visit to the vet, instead they questioned me if my dog was spayed, if she had a microchip, what kind of food I give her, if she has all her yearly vaccines, if she has her rabies shot (Which they contacted my dog's old vet for information about her rabies shot). I told the assistance I cook meals for my dog as well as occasionally dry food and raw beef. She proceeded to tell me I should feed her more dry food because of all the "vitamins and minerals contained in the dry food." Most dry food 1st ingredient is corn syrup to start with. Most people tell me my husky looks very young and well maintain for her age. She is 5 years old but looks like 2 years old due to her diet. Anyway The Vet recommended to do some lab test such as for incontinence and diabetes. Keep in mind my dog is only 5 years old and peed on my bed once, is not like she goes around the house letting urine out everywhere. Also she is not drinking enough water ( which a sing of diabetes would be drinking too much water, due to excessive thirst) because I assume is painful for her to urinate as she also excessively licks her vulva and walks uncomfortably awkward due to assuming being in pain, after all I know my dog's normal usual behavior plus I am a register nurse. I thought the lab tests were unnecessary, then she suggested I clean my dog's vulva with a warm towel and put some A&D cream. I asked about antibiotics since it was the first time my dog would be taking antibiotics ( plus I didn't want to leave empty hands just so I have to come back and pay for the exam fee again.). She kept insisting in the labs due to my dog potentially having diabetes and I could tell she was becoming a bit annoy since I wouldn't agree with the labs. She finally gave me the antibiotics. This is the first time my dog has need it antibiotics and her signs are letting me know she definitely has a urinary tract infection. She knew it too but was trying to make me spend as much money as possible. I will not be going back.

A fecal test at my primary is $22, VCA charges almost $60. Very spendy.

It sucks having to go find a new vet as you never know if you will get one that actually cares about the animals, or just cares about the money. VCA use to be the former, but now are greatly guilty of being the latter.

Nobody likes to hear they might have to change their” own ways”, to improve diet and overall health. Give them a break.

Since the exam/mutilation, she has not been able to climb any of these very well, and nearly fell off a climbing shelf she was attempting because she could not get a grip on it. I'm just glad I saw her struggling and caught her. She has been absolutely miserable and I can't wait for her claws to grow back so she'll be happy again and hopefully stop meowing so much... this isn't what I expect my animals to be like after a visit to the vet.

One of the kittens had a very hard and large tummy, the vet didn't even notice it and made us think it was fine. When I took her to my primary vet, they told me it was a problem and they were very concerned. The physical was rushed, we never got a take home dosage or dewormer, and as I said before they CHARGED A LOT.

Good luck trying to find a vet in Marysville that is perfect. Anyplace actually.

We love them. We have been taking our dogs and cats there for years. 8-9. They have walked with us through many trying moments and helped us make informed decisions about our pets care. And by the way. That pet insurance that costs “ so much”?. I have it for my dog. It saved me 800$ when she needed some teeth pulled. Also many times for smaller costs. In one year we easily saved more than we spent on the insurance.

Brought in 2 abandoned kittens for a wellness check and for how much they charged, I feel like they didn't do much for them. They answered our questions and gave us information to shelters that would take such young kittens, but I definitely got more help going somewhere else.

Enjoy your day folks. Think positive. The world needs it. And so do your pets.

Nobody’s perfect.

They love their customers and their pets even more.

If my cat gets hurt while trying to climb something and falling, thereby forcing me to visit a vet to get THAT taken care of, I will be seriously perturbed. If you are going to modify my cat in some way, ask if it's okay first. Don't just assume it's alright to start chopping off parts of my animal without consulting me about whether or not I'm alright with it. My wife and I are seriously pissed as we have to deal with the consequences now.

very friendly was very thankful for dr. helping my puppy feel better ty

Formerly a good vet, but the last three visits to them have completely changed my mind. I recommend you avoid them now.

My wife and I brought our dog here a few years back, and all seemed well. We felt this would be a great place to make our permanent vet, and have made several visits since. Then about a year ago, things changed when they came out with a new pet care annual plan, that they are continually trying to force on you at a ridiculous cost (more than I pay for my own insurance), almost shaming you if you don't agree to it. They even recently raised prices on all of their normsl services to make the yearly plan seem more appealing. They went from being "service focused" to "services focused", and it's made a huge difference in the way they treat you.

The final straw was Saturday morning when we took our cat in to give them one last chance to redeem themselves. They seriously failed. First off, they tried pushing the $1000 plan on us again... several times. We just agreed to a basic exam, and some inoculation shots. Finally they took our cat to give her the shots, and when they came back, they said they also clipped her claws. Our cat loves to climb a great deal. We have several climbing areas set up around our house just for this purpose.
